Danny Benjelloun is a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) specializing in semiconductor device fabrication, thin-film growth through physical vapor depositions, and embedded electronic systems. With hands-on experience from several industry and academic settings, Danny combines academic research diligence with practical engineering insights to tackle complex engineering problems.
Danny has worked in and aided in the construction of ISO Class 7/5/4 cleanroom environments, contributed to experiments on novel foundry processes, and led automation and optimization projects that reduced production costs in academic and indsutry settings. Sharing knowledge is at the core of his beliefs and passions, and he has tutored and aided in the instruction of aspiring students and undergraduates in engineering & engineering-adjacent subjects for the past six+ years.
Danny is currently seeking full-time, part-time, or contract opportunities in electrical engineering, particularly within teams focused on semiconductor foundry innovation, thin-film growth processes, embedded systems, and cleanroom-based research and development.
Danny combines academic diligence as a Ph.D. candidate at UNLV with real-world engineering experience in high-hazard experimentation and industry. His track record includes building and working in ISO Class 7/5/4 cleanrooms, developing thin-film growth processes, optimizing PCB production, and mentoring students in complex electronics coursework.
Yes, Danny is open to both relocation and remote-friendly roles, depending on the scope and impact of the opportunity. He’s especially interested in contributing to high-impact teams across Canada, the U.S., or international research environments.
Danny’s technical background includes semiconductor device fabrication (UHV environments & foundries, cesium/nitride thin films), embedded & IoT systems, PCB design, graphical programming and simulation, and hands-on production work.
You can request a call or share your opportunity through the “Work With Danny” section of this site. All inquiries are reviewed personally, and Danny will follow up to explore next steps if there’s a good fit.
